Who we are
Sport for SEN is creating inclusive sports clubs for children with special educational needs, and respite and community for their parents, starting in Wigan and Leigh. We are responsible for the personal information you send us. You can contact us at info@sportforsen.co.uk.
What we collect
When you email us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell us in your message. This website has no forms, accounts or tracking, so we collect nothing else about you through it.
Please do not include medical details about your child in a first message. If we need to know more about your child’s needs in order to help you, we will ask in our reply.
Why we use it
We use your details to read and reply to your message and to follow up on your enquiry. It is in our legitimate interests to respond to people who contact us. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who can see it
Only people working for Sport for SEN can read messages sent to our email address. Our email and this website are provided by trusted services, including our email provider and Netlify, which hosts the website. They handle information on our behalf. Netlify may record technical information, such as IP addresses, in server logs for security and reliability.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
How long we keep it
We keep your message for as long as we need it to reply and follow up, and then we delete it. If we start working with you, for example when your child joins a club, we will tell you separately what we keep and for how long.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email info@sportforsen.co.uk with “Privacy” in the subject line.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice as our work grows. The date at the top will change when we do.
